The Democratisation of Luxury Coffee
When we, the quirky coffee crusaders at Caffè di Artisan, used to drink machine-made coffee, we used to say "Why does this taste burnt and bitter?"
Then, we started several years-long deep dives into the Art and Science of Coffee.
And made a startling discovery: that coffee machines were absolutely the wrong way to reach coffee heaven.
So we created Caffè di Artisan.

Espresso/ Ristretto
- Pour out just about a teaspoon (5 ml) of the liquid shot from the pod into an Espresso shot cup
- Pour out the rest of the shot into the cup
- Add about 1 oz (25 ml) - equal to the amount of the coffee shot- of room temperature water to the shot. Put just half an oz (10-15 ml) for a Ristretto
- Heat the combined Espresso + water shot in the microwave for just 5-10 seconds (depending on power of the machine)
- Your espresso is ready in just 15 seconds!
- Pour out just about a teaspoon (5ml) of the liquid shot from the pod into an espresso shot cup, which has been pre-heated by rinsing it with very hot water
- Froth this using the Frother for 3-5 seconds to create a wonderful crema
- Pour out the rest of the shot into the cup
- Just add an oz(25-30 ml) of hot (95C/200F) water to the caffe di artisan liquid shot
- Your espresso is ready in just 15-20 seconds!
Enjoy!

Americano (Black Coffee)/ White Americano (Black Coffee with a bit of milk)
- Pour out the shot from the liquid pod into a normal cup of 240 ml size (8 oz)
- Optional: Froth the shot lightly to release aromas and create a rich crema
- Pour 150 ml ( 5 floz) hot water into the cup
- Your black coffee is ready in 15 seconds flat!
Enjoy!
Latté/Cappuccino
- Pour Caffè di Artisan liquid coffee shot into a cup of 8 oz (240 ml), froth for 2-3 seconds
- Heat around 5 oz (125-150 ml) milk (We recommend using whole milk for the best tasting Lattés, but it's entirely your choice)
- Froth the hot milk for 15-30 seconds to create rich foam, for a Latté. Foam for 60 seconds for Cappuccino
- Pour hot, frothed milk into the cup, and top off with extra foam for a Cappuccino
Enjoy!

Macchiato
- Heat around 50 (2 floz) ml milk in a small china cup, in a microwave or a stove
- Froth milk for about 30 seconds to create rich foam
- Open 1 CDA liquid coffee shot and pour onto the foamed milk, staining the milk
Enjoy!
Frappé
- Take very cold milk, around 12 oz (360 ml) pour into large glass
- Add 2-4 spoons of white / brown sugar (depending on how sweet you want it)
- Froth it for 1-2 minutes to create rich foam
- Pour 1-2 CDA liquid shot (1 pod will make a weak Frappé because the quantity of milk used in a Frappe is higher at 10-12 oz. We recommend 2 pods for optimum taste, unless just 5 oz (125-150ml) milk is being used)
- Add a bit of crushed ice if a real cold Frappe is desired. Top off with whipped cream/chocolate powder (Optional). Stick a straw into the drink
